My Family Holiday In Kuala Trengganu: Sutra Beach Resort, Merang, Trengganu

This resort is located about half an hour drive from KT. It is a bit secluded. It has two types of rooms, i.e. Standard and Deluxe. If one travels with a family of four or five the deluxe room is recommended. It is spacious enough to accomodate two extra beds.

One will find the normal facilities in the deluxe room. Another plus is that it has ASTRO channels which include Astro Ria. The condition of the room is acceptable and is well maintained. The staff are okay. Some are even friendly. However, I don't like the guy manning the swimming pool.

Talking about the swimming pool, it is big. It has three different segments. One is of course for kids, another is meant for those who knows little about swimming (1.08m deep) and the other is a bit deeper (1.37m). I just dip myself in the second segment.

Our room is directly facing the sea. But as it is the monsoon season I can't enjoy the cool breeze from the sea. However, the beach is magnificent.

Recommended for those who want to get away from a busy city life.

Sadly, our stay didn't turn out the way we wanted coz it rained every day. We didn't even manage to go to the beach as the waves were so big and strong. Pity my kids. Had to stay in the room most of the time. Itulah ketentuan Allah.
